1. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to The Valley’s Dismal Freedom Press on Substack, you agree to these Terms along with Substack’s own Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed securely by Substack and its payment processors.

• All recurring charges are managed by Substack.

• Cancellations must be made through your Substack account before renewal.

• Refunds are not offered except where required by law.

3. Access and Usage

Subscribers gain access to members-only stories, newsletters, and investigative archives. Content may not be copied, republished, or distributed without express written permission.
Citations must include full credit to “The Valley’s Dismal Freedom Press.”

4. Intellectual Property

All content, including reports, graphics, and source packets, is owned by The Valley’s Dismal Freedom Press. You are granted a limited, personal license to read and download material for private use.
Reposting paid or exclusive material to other platforms is prohibited.

5. Reader Conduct

Commenters and subscribers must refrain from harassment, hate speech, misinformation, or commercial solicitation.
Violations may result in comment removal or termination of subscription without refund.

6. Editorial Disclaimers

Articles reflect the independent reporting and opinions of our staff and contributors. While due diligence is exercised in verifying public documents, no guarantee of absolute accuracy or completeness is made.

7. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your subscription for nonpayment, abuse, or violation of these Terms. Access to archives may be revoked upon termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Valley’s Dismal Freedom Press and Rooted Creative Group LLC are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability to any subscriber shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid within the preceding twelve months.

9. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by California law. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Alameda County, California.

10. Updates to Terms

We may modify these Terms as needed. The latest version will always appear on our Substack publication. Continuing to read or subscribe constitutes acceptance of any updates.
